What is your involvement with Seemen?
Eric:
I helped Kal out a
bit about 3-4 years ago by placing him on the WWW. I also worked on
some
of my early systems for remote internet viewing and participation
during
some of his shows. However, I haven't worked on anything with Seemen
for
over 3 years, maybe more. I guess initially I was interested in simply
spreading information about various machine performance groups.
Tell me about Seemen's work on the Mbone. I believe Seemen initiated the first live video world-wide Mbone broadcast back in April 1995?
Eric: This was all work that I did during some of those Seemen shows. I was interested in newer technological elements that were emerging for public use on the internet. After all, the internet is simply another machine to twist and use to ones own ends. I wouldn't say that it was the first world-wide MBONE broadcast back then but it was almost certainly the first for a machine performance group.the ONE and ONLY KAREN MARCELLO!
